Each year two scholarships are awarded to graduating high school students in the city of Burnaby, BC. These students demonstrate a high level of accomplishment in athletics and academics, and will continue their education at a post secondary institution.

Raphael Gaanan

Raphael Gaanan, who attended Burnaby South, is a two-time senior national judo champion and also has a junior national championship to his credit.

Michelle Roche

Michelle Roche excelled on the baseball mound in an elite boys' loop, the British Columbia Junior Premier Baseball League.

Terrianne Zhang

Terrianne Zhang has played at six national badminton tournaments and has been ranked in the Canadian top 10 in doubles and mixed doubles.

Jimmy Zaborniak

In his high school career Jimmy Zaborniak playing basketball for Burnaby South,

Ryan Goudron

Ryan Goudron is a Burnaby Central grad, Goudron is a middle distance runner (400 metre, 800 metre, 2,000 metre steeplechase).

Ava Regan

Ava Regan is a graduate of Burnaby Central, Regan has moved on to play midfield for the University of New Hampshire Wildcats women’s field lacrosse team.

Caitlyn Lam

Caitlyn Lam competed provincially, nationally and internationally in karate while attending Burnaby North. At one nationals she won gold in two divisions.

Eric Fong

A graduate of Alpha Secondary, Eric Fong has a second-place and third-place finish at two national weightlifting junior championships and has competed nationally in the sport of crossfit.
