These athletes have demonstrated exceptional accomplishments throughout their career. We salute them here and welcome them into the Burnaby Sports Hall Of Fame.

Jack McIlhargey began his hockey career in the minor program at the Burnaby Winter Club, competing in peewee through to juvenile. He played major junior hockey in Victoria and Flin
Gordie Gimple began his lacrosse career in the Norburn minor development system before graduating to the junior ranks where he won the MVP award in 1954, while helping his teams
Alex Devlin was an All-American and NAIA all-star during his basketball playing days at Simon Fraser University. He went on to play on the Canadian national team for four years.
The Burnaby Minor Hockey product captained teams in Washington, Montreal and Vancouver during his 15-year National Hockey League career.
Jason Delesalle is a Burnaby Central Secondary grad he won the gold medal in the pentathlon at the 1996 Paralympic Games, setting as Games record 3.050 points. Also won bronze
Barbara Howard is an amazing individual. At the age of 16 and still a high school student in 1937, she participated in track time trials for the 1938 British Empire
Cliff Ronning tallied over 950 points in 17 seasons in the NHL, including six years with the Vancouver Canucks between 1990 and '96.
Courtney Knight was the first visually-impaired athlete to win a B.C. high school track and field championship, placing first in the discus in 1995.
Glenn Anderson was a fourth-round draft pick of the Edmonton Oilers in 1979, who went on to win five Stanley Cups in 11 seasons with Wayne Gretzky in the 1980s.
Justin Abdou was a nine-time Canadian senior champion and won a gold medal for Canada at the 1994 Commonwealth Games.
