The Rosemary Brown Recreation Centre is a modern, multi-sport facility in Burnaby, BC, offering two NHL-sized ice rinks, multipurpose rooms, and warm-side viewing galleries for spectators. This 92,000-square-foot center accommodates activities like hockey, figure skating, lacrosse, and pickleball, alongside community events and summer camps.
Named after Rosemary Brown—the first Black woman elected to a provincial legislature in Canada—the facility honors her legacy of social justice and community advocacy. Conveniently located near Edmonds SkyTrain Station, it serves as a hub for recreation and inclusivity.
