The Burnaby Sports Hall of Fame was established in 1999 to recognize individuals, teams and organizations whose endeavors in sports have significantly contributed to the quality of life in Burnaby.
The Burnaby Sports Hall of Fame is located in the Bill Copeland Sports Centre, 3676 Kensington Avenue, Burnaby. The display is prominently mounted on the west concourse wall of the Sports Centre. Please visit our display.

The Committee is a group of volunteers representing different segments of the sports and local community.
Application forms have been placed at these locations: City Hall, Community Centers, Bill Copeland Sports Centre, Burnaby Now office, Burnaby Lake Sports Complex, local Fire Halls. Also, forms are in the process of being distributed to various local sports organizations (soccer, baseball, lacrosse, etc.

Yes, any verification material is very helpful in the committee’s selection process. Please send in duplicates -NOT ORIGINALS. If you wish your items to be returned, a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope must accompany the submission Otherwise, all submission documents and forms will become the property of the Burnaby Sports Hall of Fame.
No, the committee will evaluate individuals and teams from Burnaby’s long athletic history. Inductees can be from all previous years.
