Our appreciation and gratitude goes out to all our inductees, nominees and scholarship candidates. The Burnaby Sports Hall of Fame is excited about the City of Burnaby providing a prominent place to inform Burnaby residents and visitors about the proud history and future of the city’s thriving sports community in its new Burnaby Lake Aquatics and Arena project.

Lise Léveillé is B.C.’s first ever gymnastic medalist at the Pan American Games, winning the gold medal on the beam in Kuala Lumpur in 1999, the same site where one year earlier she earned a bronze at the Commonwealth Games.

Shared a ninth place team finish at the 2000 Olympics and was the beam champion, runner-up in the all-round and floor exercises and bronze medalist on the vault and uneven bars at the 1999 Canadian championships held in Burnaby. A student at Stanford University, she is a two-time Pac 10 champion on beam and All American on beam.
