Our appreciation and gratitude goes out to all our inductees, nominees and scholarship candidates. The Burnaby Sports Hall of Fame is excited about the City of Burnaby providing a prominent place to inform Burnaby residents and visitors about the proud history and future of the city’s thriving sports community in its new Burnaby Lake Aquatics and Arena project.
Lisa Faust played field hockey in Burnaby for 14 years; member of many Rep teams; captained SFU Varsity team for four years; currently on Canadian national team with an incredible 90 caps to her credit; also has helped coach and umpire her sport in Burnaby for ten years; represented Canada at Pan Am Games, Commonwealth Games and American Cup.
Recognizing and celebrating those who have brought honour to Burnaby through their incredible achievements in the arenas of sport.
Sports have the unique ability to cut across differences in age, gender, ethnicity, politics and wealth to unify, inspire, entertain and amaze. Our Inductees and our Scholarship winners certainly are living proof of this.
