1977 Burnaby Cablevision Junior A Lacrosse Club: Won the B.C. Junior league with a record of 27 wins in 28 games; went east to face Eastern Champion Whitby in Minto Cup final; after losing first two games, came back strongly to tie the series at two wins apiece and then go on to win the next two as well to capture the title and become the first B.C. team since 1953 to win the title in the East; it was the first of three straight Minto Cups the team would earn.
