Lou Moro is one of the most respected trainers in the country in soccer and lacrosse; trainer of a host of Canadian national and international soccer teams dating back to 1957; trainer for the Vancouver Sun Soccer Tournament at Swangard Stadium since its inception in 1953; elected to the B.C. Sports Hall of Fame in 1973 and was recipient of A.C. Sandford Achievement Award for his contribution to B.C. soccer; appointed life member Cliff Avenue United Soccer Club.
